Conservancy Projects & Wish Lists

The Conservancy has been active and innovative through the years, not only in land saving and grants, but also in education and events.

Some of the many projects, activities, and accomplishments of the Conservancy include:

  • Saving hundreds of acres of open space

  • Stewarding and restoring natural habitat - most recently an oak forest of several thousand trees; trail resources and activities

  • Brodiaea Week and Earthday Celebrations

  • Educational opportunities and curriculum development

  • The Conservancy's Native Plant Garden and Nature Center

  • The Route 66 Office of the Conservancies;  and more.

Ask us and take our Project Tour! Volunteers and funds invited and needed to sustain and expand our activities available to the community.

Contact us on how you would like to assist and/or participate.  (Some of our newest activities, events, and project ideas include:  art, music, poetry, and writing.  And, ask us out some of our new outdoor education ideas.)  And yes, we continue to value open space purchase, acquisition, stewardship, and preservation as our highest priority for the community good now and future!  Get involved - become a participant instead of a bystander!  We need a community behind our efforts, if we are to do a community work!
